On BidFTA there are four grades of products:
Brand New: Brand New items are new and unused merchandise. It may not be in its original packaging. They should perform as expected. If you pick up your item and it is not new, or does not work, you can return that item before you leave the pickup location.
These items are guaranteed for functionality and completeness. A bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item is not brand new the bidder MUST report this at the warehouse prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, Fast Track It cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item.
Brand new items are often bought as overstock and are not returned inventory.
These are items that appear to be in a new condition or have never been used previously. They may not be in their original packaging. They should perform as expected. We determine an item Appears New through a quick inspection using the following criteria:
- All of the pieces appear to be present
- The item does not appear used or dirty
- May not have been out of the box
- May have shipping damage to the box but not the contents
If you pick up your item and it does not fit the “Appears New” definition or does not work, you can return that item before you leave the pickup location.
These items are not tested for functionality or completeness. A bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item does not appear new or unused or if there is an issue, the bidder MUST report this at the warehouse prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, Fast Track It cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item.
Open Box: An open box item could be incomplete, damaged, or used and has not been checked or tested for functionality. These items may have been out of the box and put back in. We do not verify that every piece is there. The item could or could not be in perfect condition.
Open box items are like going to Vegas, you win some and you lose some.
Open Box items may not be returned. We strongly recommend that you use our preview time to inspect the item.
Damaged: These items have obvious damage. We do our best to describe the damage in the description and provide a number of images. These items are not tested for functionality or completeness. We strongly recommend that you use our preview time to inspect the item. Damaged items can not be returned.
You are always welcome to come see any of the items in an auction during our inspection hours. These hours can be found in the notes on every auction.
Once you find an item you're interested in bidding on, you can bid the minimum incremental bid, or set a max bid. To see a list of items you've submitted a bid on or that you are watching, click the watch list icon or select the watch list under the My Account options.
